'L.A. Law' Actor Corbin Bernsen Sues Legal Marketing Firm For Divorcing Him

Law, Bernsen performed the role of divorce attorney, Arnie Becker, so well, that for any generation of up-and-coming legal talent, Bernsen's Emmy-nominated work grew to become a job type of sorts for that glamorous lifestyle of lawyers in la-la land. Which might explain why he was employed last year -- 15 years after L.A. Law finished its run of recent episodes -- to become the compensated representative for Innovative Legal Marketing, a Virginia-based company providing you with marketing services for lawyers and lawyers. This relationship isn't ending nicely. In June, the organization informed Bernsen it wanted from its relationship. Now, Bernsen is suing the organization in excess of $668,000 for allegedly breaking its sponsorship deal. Based on the complaint filed on Friday in Virginia federal court, Bernsenwas engaged as the organization's representative last year and signed a five-year agreement to record marketing bulletins, make marketing looks, and become readily available for still photography periods. Bernsen was useful in helping sell lawyers on marketing assistance. Innovative allegedly decided to pay him $a million, having a $50,000 fee at the outset of every year and eleven equal monthly obligations of $13,636.36 every year from the agreement. That company just declared personal bankruptcy.
